Prairie Kitchen + Camp Lonetree

Two restaurants under one roof. Party hop from space to space.

Prairie Kitchen

Originally built in 1919 as Fargo’s Acme Dairy, this historic space has been transformed with elegance and simplicity of great Scandinavian design coupled with the coziness of your family’s kitchen. We were inspired by the heritages and foods of the Midwest when creating this menu. We can’t wait to see you and your families and be part of awesome memories and traditions!

Camp Lonetree

Our casual rooftop bar and grill has both an indoor cozy, cabiny area and a large patio with a fire pit, camp fire sing alongs, games, and outdoor dining in the summer and curling, ice bar and igloo dining in the winter.  We are taking our cue from our Scandinavian ancestors and embracing "Friluftsliv" by celebrating the "free air life" because there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!
This is a no reservation zone-the more the merrier!
Let us know if you have a large group coming and we will block off a section for you!

Large Group Dining and Events

We love hosting your group as a large group reservation in our restaurant or in our private dining area called the Dain room. If you are going bigger with your party planning, we would love to chat about a rooftop or Prairie Kitchen party!

Culinary team

We are pretty darn proud of our culinary team under the direction of Executive Chef Avalon Hoff . They are creative, quirky. over-caffeinated, obsessed with food and most importantly, care about bringing their A game each day.

We may not have an expansive parking lot but we have over 75 spots within 400 steps. So not only do we care about your dining experience, we care about your cardiac health!

KIND WORDS

“Easily one of my favorite restaurants in town and a top pick to bring my out-of-town friends and family."

Their menu embraces midwest dishes and cranks the flavor and presentation up a notch. The service is wonderful and exemplifies the warm, kind nature of our community.

If you're into restaurant life, embracing the four seasons,  shopping small, nordic design, great cocktails, funny grandparents+ probably way too many videos of cooking, you've come to the right place.
